Built in 1912 for silk merchant Georg Syz-Hünerwadel and designed by architects Otto Pfleghard and Max Haefeli, the villa has been meticulously restored by local owners determined to preserve its architectural heritage. Surrounded by landscaped gardens originally conceived by Gustav Ammann, the house retains the quiet dignity of Zürich’s ambassadorial quarter while welcoming a new generation of design-conscious travellers. Design with a Sense of History

The interiors celebrate craftsmanship rather than decoration. Original parquet floors, decorative fireplaces, timber panelling, stucco ceilings, and elegant stonework form the backdrop for carefully selected pieces by Josef Hoffmann, Eileen Gray, Thonet, ClassiCon, and Swiss manufacturer Thut Möbel.
