Created by The StandardX’s in-house design team in collaboration with Studio Freehand and designer Porntip “Mook” Attakanwong of ATT19, the hotel embraces a deliberately restrained aesthetic. Raw materials, warm timber, polished concrete, generous glazing, and carefully curated artworks create interiors that feel contemporary without becoming anonymous. Public spaces are intentionally flexible, allowing exhibitions, conversations, and everyday life to unfold naturally throughout the building. The architecture stays quiet. The artwork speaks loudly.

Rooms Designed for Modern Travellers

The 62 guestrooms follow the same philosophy of thoughtful simplicity. Natural materials, understated colour palettes, generous windows, and carefully selected furnishings create calm, functional spaces that allow Bangkok itself to remain the focal point. Comfort comes through quality rather than excess, reflecting the brand’s intentionally minimalist approach to hospitality. Nothing feels unnecessary. Everything feels considered.

Art Beyond the Walls

Creativity is woven into the hotel’s identity. The in-house 10 10 Art Space showcases rotating and permanent exhibitions by leading Thai artists, while works by Gongkan and MRKREME animate both the riverside and street-facing façades. An artist-in-residence programme, workshops, talks, and cultural events transform the hotel into an active platform for Bangkok’s creative community rather than simply a place to display art. Guests become part of the conversation.

A Different Rhythm of Bangkok

Dining and social life reinforce the hotel’s neighbourhood character. BANG celebrates contemporary Thai cooking built around local ingredients, while The Roof combines Mexican flavours, cocktails, and panoramic river views beside the rooftop pool. Downstairs, The Box highlights locally made products and sustainable design, extending the hotel’s commitment to supporting regional makers and communities beyond its walls. The city isn’t observed.
