Hotel Noelle – Nashville, Tennessee
Art Deco elegance, local creativity and Music City soul in one unforgettable landmark.
Why DNA Hotels Loves It
● A beautifully restored 1930 Art Deco landmark that celebrates Nashville’s architectural heritage through a thoroughly contemporary lens.
● An extraordinary collaboration with local artists, makers, designers and craftspeople that makes the hotel feel unmistakably rooted in Music City.
● A collection of distinctive restaurants, bars and cultural spaces that turn the hotel into a destination far beyond its guestrooms.
An Art Deco Landmark Reawakened
When the original Noel Hotel opened in 1930, it was one of Nashville’s grandest addresses, standing proudly above the city’s historic Printers Alley. After decades of changing fortunes, the landmark has been meticulously restored by Dryden Architecture together with Feltus Hawkins Design, preserving its terrazzo floors, original brass detailing and Tennessee marble while transforming it into one of Nashville’s most compelling boutique hotels. Rather than recreating the past, Hotel Noelle allows its remarkable history to coexist naturally with contemporary design.
Made by Nashville
Few hotels embrace local creativity as completely as Noelle. More than fifty Nashville artists contributed to the hotel’s identity, from original artworks and handcrafted furnishings to locally made products, bespoke lighting and curated retail. Every public space tells part of the city’s story, while the original building itself becomes an integral part of the experience. The result feels less like a branded hotel and more like an authentic expression of Nashville’s thriving creative community.
Rooms with Timeless Character
The 224 guestrooms blend Art Deco references with contemporary comfort through geometric detailing, warm timber furniture, brass accents and marble bathrooms. Locally crafted amenities, handwoven robes and carefully selected decorative pieces reinforce the hotel’s connection to place, while modern technology is seamlessly integrated into interiors that feel elegant without becoming nostalgic. Spacious suites elevate the experience even further, offering refined residential luxury above the heart of downtown.
A Cultural Destination in Its Own Right
Noelle functions as a creative hub as much as a hotel. Makeready serves elevated American tavern cuisine, Drug Store Coffee energises the mornings with locally roasted coffee, while Trade Room, Rare Bird rooftop bar and the intimate Hidden Bar each offer their own distinct atmosphere. Add an independent boutique showcasing local designers, a working print studio and a year-round programme of art and cultural events, and Hotel Noelle becomes far more than a place to sleep. Perfectly positioned between Printers Alley and Broadway, it offers a sophisticated alternative to Nashville’s honky-tonk scene while remaining deeply connected to the city’s unmistakable creative energy.
