QT Singapore
A Bold, Playful Reboot of Heritage in the Heart of the Financial District

From Telegraphs to Turquoise Tiles

Housed in a 1927 neo-classical beauty that once buzzed with telegraph lines, QT Singapore is rewriting the narrative on what a financial district hotel can be. Having previously served as Sofitel S/O and The Telegraph, the building now bursts with QT’s unmistakable brand of charisma—a heady mix of irreverence, design-forward thinking, and laid-back cool. It’s a welcome disruption to a neighborhood better known for spreadsheets than splash.

Design With a Wink

From the moment you step inside, QT’s playful spirit is in full effect. Striking hallway rugs, mirrored clerestories, and custom wallpapers inspired by colonial-era architecture signal that this is not your average city stay. The aesthetic—bold, tropical, and exuberantly layered—draws heavily from Southeast Asian botany and vintage Singaporean motifs, reimagined with a modern twist. Even the elevators are cheeky, dressed in whimsical line art that pays homage to local landmarks.

Guest rooms are split between Heritage Suites (think: soaring ceilings and open-plan elegance) and Balcony Suites that offer panoramic views over the steel-and-glass skyline. Wherever you land, expect rich textures, jewel-toned accents, and QT’s signature sense of humor hiding in the details.

Rooftops, Ribeyes, and Retro Vibes

QT Singapore’s social heartbeat pulses through its impeccably styled dining and drinking spaces. The Cygnet Bar is compact but packed with character, serving Manhattan-inspired cocktails with a side of mid-century flair. Upstairs, Cygnet by Sean Connolly channels an Aussie steakhouse through a global lens—think dry-aged cuts, fresh seafood, and refined comfort food, all set in a room that hits just the right balance between polished and playful.

The 25-meter rooftop lap pool is tiled to perfection, its geometric patterns and skyline backdrop making it equally Instagrammable by day and cinematic by night. Come sunset, neon skyscrapers glow, Mexican-inspired cocktails flow, and the whole vibe shifts to somewhere between beach club and Blade Runner.

DNA Hotels Verdict

QT Singapore is the shot of personality the city’s hotel scene didn’t know it needed. Smart, splashy, and just a little bit cheeky, it delivers heritage with humor, design with depth, and hospitality with heart. Whether you’re here for business, pleasure, or both—this is where the city gets interesting.
