From Palazzo to Provocation
Directly opposite the bustling Rialto Market, The Venice Venice Hotel reimagines the storied Ca’ da Mosto—a 13th-century Byzantine palace—as a dramatic, industrial-gothic sanctuary. Created by the founders of the Golden Goose sneaker brand, it rejects the polished opulence of typical Venetian stays in favor of raw theatricality. Guests arrive over a “flooded” floor, greeted by Fabio Viale’s marble “Pietà Without Christ,” an arresting prelude to what lies beyond.
Art in Every Chamber
The 42 guest rooms (in the main building and in an adjoining palazzo) are a curated collision of eras and influences—original artworks, avant-garde installations, and handpicked curiosities come together to create spaces that feel like part gallery, part dreamscape. It’s a world where patina is prized, and every imperfection tells a story.
A Café With a View—and a Double Life
On the ground floor, the café gazes directly onto the Grand Canal. Mornings are laid-back, with coffee and pastries served against the backdrop of passing gondolas; by evening, the atmosphere shifts to fine dining, drawing a stylish crowd that blurs the line between locals and in-the-know visitors.
DNA Hotels Verdict
Venice Venice is for those who prefer their luxury with an edge—moody, immersive, and unapologetically artistic. It’s Venice seen through a darker, more seductive lens, where history and modernity collide in unforgettable style.
